Personal introduction to this was glass beach in 2019. The intersection and opposition of the lofi and the screaming is cool to me :). A bit of a matroshka of names. Bedroom referring to both bedroom diy scene, bedroom lofi. Scramz being the portmanteau of scremo (itself a portmanteau of scream and emo) and Vaguely 5th wave and post-emo stuff but trying to target less the whole time-period and more so a specific sound and scene. If I could put all of Your Arms Are My Cocoon and Hey, ILY's discographies on here I would have... but you can have two. as a treat. Tried to keep this stuff mostly lighter, but calendar year and gingerbee can get well noisy in a beautiful way.
